Ocean Specific’s V-RX 1 is designed for power and speed. The double dihedral design combined with our ergonomic oval shaft and Hammer T grip promotes power straight from the catch for maximum speed and efficiency. The undeviating directional feedback allows for a more powerful and efficient stroke whilst greatly reducing power loss and fatigue due to flutter or cavitation. All this is great for both traditional stand up paddle boarding and SUP foiling.

We’ve used the Ocean Specific V-RX 1 SUP paddle a lot. Having enjoyed (loved) the Strike SX-2 we have to say the V-RX 1 is just as awesome if not better. Super light, full carbon, with an oval shaft makes it a joy to use in both SUP surfing mode and SUP foiling. And actually, it’s great on the flat as well if you fancy just pootling about aboard your SUP.
The V-RX 1’s double dihedral paddle blade, however, really comes to the fore. The rider gets instant feedback in terms of speed off the mark. And all with less effort. Less fatigue means a more fun session. And that B of the Bang speed helps generate instantaneous lift for SUP foiling and/or easy drop ins to waves when SUP surfing.
