The McConks T1 Magwheel one wheel electric skateboard takes around 2-3 working days for delivery for mainland UK.
The price of the McConks T1 Magwheel, plus its easy to access performance, makes this one wheel electric skateboard much more appealing than other one wheels on the market. Within a few minutes, it’s possible for all riders to be rolling and enjoying the unique sensation of one wheeling.
Once in motion, the pressure sensitive pads react to rider weight distribution which can make the T1 Magwheel move one way or the other. There’s no forwards or backwards which allows left foot forward and right foot forward riders to one wheel easily. As you improve it’s possible to ride switch.
Here at Foilshop UK we’ve used to McConks Magwheel to great effect when running through wing foiling drills on land. In fact, for all types of foil training there’s no better tool for practising and getting that real foil feeling in our opinion. The McConks T1 Magwheel one wheel electric skateboard really does a sterling job of mimicking what you’ll experience on the water.
Ditch the pressure from the tyre and the T1 has the torque, speed and sensitivity to tackle gravel, small pebbles and tree roots in difficult terrain.
If you want to compare this to an actual Onewheel, it’s like the Onewheel Pint on speed. Faster, greater range, more responsive, and without a complex Bluetooth app. It’s not as fast as the XR but still plenty fast enough.
The McConks T1 Magwheel one wheel is just a super fun ‘toy’ to have at your disposal. Super easy to use and with a multitude of applications, what’s not to like? The Magwheel really is child’s play.
The T1 Magwheel comes with a charger and a simple carry bag. Charging takes around two hours. Once fully charged you’re good to go. Ensure the charging port is fully closed, so as to not get any moisture inside.
Spec info –
Switching the Magwheel on you’ll hear three beeps. Once these have stopped you’re able to ride. LED lights shine red or white, depending on the direction of travel. These change according to which foot is leading. If the battery starts to run down you’ll hear warning beeps which increase as you get closer to zero power. Should you come off the Magwheel and it land on its side there’ll be a continuous beep telling you it needs righting.
The wattage is 700W and the T1 has a max rider weight of 125kg.
Working off gyroscopic technology you’ll move fairly quickly. But the Magwheel has a top speed limiter for safety. As you approach this upper limit it’ll back off and slow down.
Magwheel safety –
We’d recommend elbow, hand and knee pads, plus a helmet. Should you have a tumble you’ll need protection to help avoid injury.
If you attempt to ride the Maghweel with a wing we’d suggest doing so with little to no wind. You’ll have power from the T1 itself so no need for any additional help from Mother Nature.
McConks T1 Magwheel riding is done at your own risk and neither McConk or Foilshop can be held responsible for injury or misuse.
Warranty –
12 month warranty on the motor and transmission and 3 month warranty on the tyre.
