Foil assisted flights have become a big focus in recent times. Esea Foil’s foil assist systems are designed and engineered in the UK and are poised to get you flying effortlessly.
Use either the Esea Foil Boost or Cruise for flat water foiling, light wind wing foiling, small wave SUP foiling, foiling paddle ups, downwind foiling and pump foiling.
Retrofitted to your existing foiling set up the Esea Foil foil assist will elevate your riding even more than you anticipated.

Esea Foil delivery can take up to two working weeks and is shipped direct from the manufacturer.
Esea Foil’s Boost or Cruise are retrofitted to your existing foiling set up. Mount the pod and propeller on your foil mast at your preferred height, affix the mounting plate and battery to your board and you’re good to go.
The Esea Foil Cruise is the most powerful retrofitted foil assist on the market! Increased thrust, longer run time, efficient drive and ultimate performance make this so. Designed and tested in the UK by a team of dedicated, experienced engineers, the end result is what you see with the Esea Foil Boost and Cruise models.
For performance foiling, where it’s only the foil assist which is needed we recommend the Easea Foil Boost. The pod sits higher on your foil mast and literally boosts you on foil. As your foil lifts the pods exits the water leaving you, the rider, to ride off foil as you would do naturally. No drag and that real foil feeling! This gives endless possibilities in terms of the low end threshold of what conditions you actually need to foil and what gear you can use. E.G: smaller hand wings and foils are now accessible in even lighter airs for every day riders.
If you’re wanting the Esea Foil to give you some eFoiling fun then we’d recommend the Cruise which benefits from a bigger battery and longer run time. Note: Eesea Foil’s foil assist isn’t an eFoil as it doesn’t have the same range. But it’s still possible to enjoy some foiling fun in this guise on flat water. For beginners, looking to take their first flights, this is also a good option. The Easea Foil’s aluminium folding prop then helps eliminate drag once flying.
The Esea Foil Boost –
Best for SUP foiling, low wind wing foiling and prone foiling.

Esea Foil’s Boost operates with a 28-32V battery system, which hosts a battery enclosure of just 7.5cm tall. The full system weighs 3.7kg.
The Esea Foil Boost system uses the revolutionary tailor-made Esea Foil mastgrasp, providing interchangeable connections with a secure and streamlined fit to your hydrofoil mast.
The Esea Foil Boost has a smaller profile controller with a higher trigger position well suited to upper handle positioning when fitted to a paddle for SUP foiling.
While the Esea Foil system can be used for eFoiling (when used with appropriate foils) it must be appreciated that it’s designed as a lightweight retrofit foil assist first and foremost. It’s not a full eFoil and has limitations due to battery size and method of cooling of the electronics.
A dedicated eFoil has a significantly larger and heavier battery (circa 8-10 times), with a much greater capacity and operating voltage.
The Esea Foil system should not be used for extended periods at 100% throttle. If used at high throttle for extended durations the electronics automatically reduces power to keep within the operating temperature parameters of the system.
Use of high throttle percentages for extended durations will significantly reduce run time due to high power consumption, the figures stated for surf time are based on short bursts to push you onto a wave, these do not reflect eFoil time.
The Esea Foil Cruise –
Best for everyday performance foiling.

The Esea Foil cruise operates with a 36-42V battery system, offering increased power and run time over the Eseafoil Boost.
The battery enclosure is 10cm tall (vs 7.5cm for the boost) and the full system weighs 4.4kg.
The Esea Foil cruise uses the revolutionary tailor-made Esea Foil mastgrasp, providing interchangeable connections with a secure and streamlined fit to your hydrofoil mast.
The controller that operates the Esea Foil Cruise has additional benefits of a larger colour screen, GPS (showing live speed and distance covered), multi-level power options and additional display information.

Servicing and repairs –
All Esea Foil systems are fully assembled and tested in the UK, where we have a full service and spares capability.
Additional Esea Foil batteries and accessories are available upon request. This includes additional mastgrasp inserts for alternative masts and positions, spare blades, fixings, additional batteries, and accessories.
If a concern arises with any element of your Esea Foil system that cannot be resolved remotely, you may need to return your equipment to us for further investigation and repair. Any repair costs will be communicated to you prior to work commencing. The purchaser is responsible for all applicable postage, shipping costs, customs fees, duties, taxes, VAT etc that may be due.
Esea Foil maintenance –
Operating any equipment in a saltwater environment requires care, this is particularly the case when operating electrical equipment. Details of routine Esea Foil maintenance requirements are listed within the manual to keep your system in optimal working order.
Precautions:
The Esea Foil Boost and Cruise are fitted with a streamlined folding propeller to reduce drag when unpowered. This design is unguarded and must be used by competent users who have read and understood the safe workings and operations of the systems. Never open the electrical battery enclosure in the water and ensure that your hands are dry before opening the enclosure on dry land.
Esea Foil warranty –
Esea Foil warranties its products against defects in workmanship and materials for a period of 12 months from the date of sale to its initial customer.
This warranty is void if the product is misused, altered, tampered with or is installed or used in a manner that is inconsistent with eseafoil’s written recommendations, specifications and/or instructions, or fails to perform due to normal wear and tear.
Esea Foil and Foilshop UK are not liable for special, indirect, incidental, consequential, or other damages including, but not limited to, loss, damage, personal injury, or any other expense, directly or indirectly arising from the use of or inability to use its products either separately or in combination with other products.
ALL OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, WHETHER ORAL, WRITTEN OR IN ANY OTHER FORM ARE EXPRESSLY EXCLUDED.
The battery used within your Esea Foil product carries a limited 12 month warranty covering manufacturing defects. This does not cover any performance degradation that is associated with battery ageing or misuse/water ingress.
