All-Round Performance

An ultralight-weight 3-layer laminate is 4 times more durable than woven canopy.
The woven base layer enhanced with ultra-light PE mesh is designed to carry primary load all fused together with a low stretch 0.25 mm film.

Pre-Preg Carbon Boom:

Shipping standard with a new one-piece Pre-Preg Carbon Boom and featuring the innovative Modular Handle System technology, the Air V5 can be configured in multiple options to suit a riders’ personal preference.

Gradient Load Leading Edge:

The Leading Edge is comprised of a two-stage, high-tenacity Dacron Construction. Center segments feature new HD 260 Dacron with outer sections utilising a 160g High Tenacity Dacron.

Modular Front Handle:

Leading edge front handle design offers generous space & comfort. Featuring our proven Firm-Flex Grip Handle technology for superior rigidity, responsiveness, and optimal wing control. Switch out to the Alu-Ultra Grip hard handle for complete flag-out control during wave riding and downwinding sessions.

Large Centre Strut Connection:

The tapered strut features a wide and strong connection at the base, creating a stiffer overall airframe. Pumping becomes more efficient, improving acceleration and high-end power/ speed.

Medium Canopy Tension:

Provides consistent power delivery and excellent flagged-out stability. Also, more stability and lift from the canopy in manoeuvres, making tacking and gibing a dream.

Optimised Geometry:

Medium-aspect wing ratio together with short strut for compact power balance makes the wing more manoeuverable, performing better through tacks and gybes, and when flagged out.

Maximum Vision:

Windows are in the ideal position for maximum vision and made from a durable PU material, suitable for use in all climate conditions.

Drag Reduction Wingtips:

Thin optimized wingtips reduce drag, enhancing stability for a smoother glide when the wing is flagged out.

Comfort Strut Shape:

The back handle does not need to be as pulled in and allows for a more extended arm position, increasing overall comfort and balance.

Optimised Dihedral:

The leading edge features a slight dihedral to maintain significant power whilst gaining better stability when the wing is flagged out.

One-Pack Wing Bag:

Go all-in with a single bag. The vented bag accommodates both the wing, pump and accessories, equipped with boom attachment points and carrying straps for your on-the-go lifestyle. Also features external and internal pockets. *Pump not included.

Size Specific Leashes:

Strong, recoil leash matches the length of the strut when stretched, yet always have as short a leash as possible to prevent getting tangled.

Includes Nozzle Adapter:

Allows you to turn your inflatable SUP pump into a FreeWing pump.
