A new and revised size range sees the Hyde Blast Wing V3 targeted towards freeride wing foiling. Bigger sizes are now available with the new Hyde Blast Rush light wind wing which you can find here.
The Hyde Blast V3 wing features improved dynamic frame support. The added rigidity in theleading edge section makes crucial performance requirements. Pumping and quick transitioning (gybes, tacks), even now more efficient.
The Hyde Blast V2 has an advanced camber. A much deeper profile for low end power in gusty winds and when needed most when deep water starting or just getting going to fly on foil. That low end grunt has always been a Hyde Blast wing trait. Only with the V3 this power delivery is smoother and more refined.
Wing tip twist allows air to spill and drive the wing forward rather than stalling. This also keeps the tension of the leech to reduce looseness and wing flutter. As much as possible gusts are transferred to drive, thrust and lift. The canopy has new and revised tension setting for a much cleaner and smoother experience on the water.
Upgraded handles and positions with new webbing material, foam and deeper grip channels make the Hyde Blast V3 wing supremely comfortable to use. The Blast V3 displays a new and revised canopy tension setting for a much cleaner and smoother experience on the water.
Handling is super light, the V3 Blast going completely neutral when needed. Yet turning back on the power instantly. For a wing with soft handles, the feedback is direct, yet not too over the top to cause unnecessary rider fatigue. It’s a great wing to cruise around with, boost a few moves or wave ride. At times you feel like you’re using a rigid handle or boom wing, yet with the forgiving nature of a soft handle wing.
The centre strut has a deflate valve for quick pack down. Whist The PVC window is just the right amount in the right place not to hinder performance.
All in the Hyde Blast V3 wings are a performance update on an already classic design.
