Being a calf leash the Ocean Specific coiled type lifts the attachment off the deck of board thereby alleviating the want for it to slip over the side of your board and cause drag (or even wrap around your foil). A stainless steel swivels at both the cuff and rail saver increase mobility and a fully padded neoprene comfort cuff with strong Velcro grip and proud loop for a quick release. All in this is a high quality product you can put your trust in. We wouldn’t recommend it for big waves but small to medium lumps are fine as is wing foiling/wing surfing in similar conditions. Also, flat water/open water/race SUP scenarios.
